Choose how columns are separated in your file — comma, pipe, semicolon, colon, tab, or space. Use Custom for any other symbol.

Space delimiter tip: Column headers must not contain spaces, or they will split into extra columns (for example Emp ID becomes Emp + ID). Write headers with underscores instead.

Avoid: Emp ID Name Value Units

How to Use
  1. Upload a .txt file with values separated by a delimiter.
  2. Choose the delimiter (comma, pipe, semicolon, colon, tab, space, or custom).
  3. If you use Space as the delimiter, write headers without spaces (use Emp_ID instead of Emp ID).
  4. Choose output format (.xlsx or .csv) and click Convert to Excel.
  5. Review the preview, then click Download.
Pro Tips
  • For Space delimiter, never put spaces inside column headers — use underscores (Emp_ID, Unit_Price).
  • Example header row: Emp_ID Name Value Units
  • Prefer comma or pipe if your headers or values naturally contain spaces.
  • Turn on First row is header when your file includes column names.
FAQs
QWhy do I see an extra ID column when using Space?
A

Headers like Emp ID are split into Emp and ID because space is the column separator. Write Emp_ID (or EmpID) instead.

QWhich delimiters are supported?
A

Comma, pipe, semicolon, colon, tab, space, plus any custom symbol up to 8 characters.

QCan I download both CSV and Excel?
A

Yes. Convert once, then switch the Output format and click Download again.
