Limits & notes

  • Supported: .xls, .xlsx, .xlsm, .xlsb, .csv, and .zip archives of those files.
  • Local processing only — no third-party APIs. Uploads are sanitized; downloads and temp files are cleaned up automatically.
  • Original uploads stay intact. One renamed file downloads as a single file; multiple files as a ZIP.
  • CSV mapping must match File Name Original to uploaded names. Export includes any Rename values already typed in the table.

How to Use
  1. Upload one or more Excel/CSV files or a ZIP archive.
  2. Select workbooks from the Excel files dropdown (Select all / Clear).
  3. Edit File Name Rename in the mapping table, or export CSV, edit offline, and upload the CSV.
  4. Click Rename files — renamed copies are packed into a batch ZIP for download.
  5. Use Clear to reset and start over.
Pro Tips
  • Originals stay intact; only copies in the batch folder are renamed.
  • If Rename omits an extension, the original extension is kept.
  • CSV columns must be File Name Original and File Name Rename (exact original names).
  • Duplicate originals in one upload get a (2), (3) suffix so CSV mapping stays unique.
  • Admin can override Excel upload MB per plan. ZIP MB and file counts follow the plan matrix.
