Excel Compressor

Compress Excel workbooks by removing unused bloat and optional package cleanup.

Upload .xls, .xlsx, .xlsm, or .xlsb workbooks (or a ZIP of them), then remove bloat such as blank rows, unused styles, calc chains, printer settings, external links, and optionally compress images. Processed locally with ZipArchive and PhpSpreadsheet — no third-party APIs.

    FAQs
    QWhich formats are supported?
    A

.xls, .xlsx, .xlsm, .xlsb, and ZIP archives of those files.

QWill my formulas and data survive?
    A

Yes for recommended cleanup. Opt-in options like drawings/charts or pivot caches intentionally remove those parts.

QWhy did the file not shrink?
    A

Some workbooks are already compact, or selected options had little effect. Notes in the result card explain what ran.

    QWhat are the plan limits?
    A

    Files per batch: Free 5 / Pro 10 / Premium 50. Upload MB: Free 100 / Pro 250 / Premium 500 (admin can override).
